I don't buy new music so much often, but the question now is probably 'how can I get that music?'. The promotion for 'Automaton' is probably the poorest I have ever witnessed. There are no more CD singles or 12" vinyl: the remixes are available only for a short period of time on Beatport (and not all of them). The european market can easily access all the tracks, thanks to JunoDownload ans sites alike, but not the North American market! We are restricted to buy on these sites for copyright reasons.I think we are headed straight to the option of 'Streaming Only' in a few years from now. Remember how the big corporations managed to shut down Napster because they said they were loosing money. Well, we now depend on peer to peer networks to find what we are looking for. Total nonsense.In the meantime, as a result, the singles don't chart anywhere. They have great potential, but Virgin EMI don't look too much concerned about that. I really don't get it anymore and it's sad for all Jamiroquai fans and music lovers in general.
